Fit to the Core – Pilates
This is a six week course in Pilates designed to get those core and back muscles in shape, firm and doing the job they were designed for.
The course will run at a local leisure Center in Poole (To be disclosed nearer the time) and will cost approximately £30 for the course and which is payable in full up front.

Pilates focuses on building your body’s core strength and improving your posture through a series of low repetition low impact stretching and conditioning exercises.
By core strength, we are talking about your back, abdominal and pelvic muscles. Through pilates, you will be able to develop these muscles (without adding bulk), increasing your flexibility and agility and at the same time toning your stomach and thigh muscles.
Pilates goes far beyond your core muscles however and not only provides a complete body workout, but also helps you develop an awareness of how your body works, helping your mind and body to work in harmony as you focus on the principles which are:
Concentration
Breathing
Control
Centring
Flowing movement
Every session will be concluded with a hypnotic guided meditation to help you to feel even more relaxed and as you think about how that may feel now, maybe you can really see yourself being there feeling totally relaxed
This is perfect to combat the effects of sitting a a desk all day, a sedentary or stressful lifestyle and will assist in correcting poor posture and back conditions caused by poor strength and spinal flexibility. It is suitable for both the guys and girls.
